Abstraction

THE PROCESS

The process of abstraction in art comes from various techniques used by artists to deviate from realistic representation. These techniques include the use of bold colours, gestural brushstrokes, geometric shapes, and the absence of recognizable forms, allowing artists to express emotions, concepts, and ideas in a non-representative way. This has allowed me to create artworks that evoke different emotions and interpretations in each viewer, as the absence of recognizable forms leaves room for personal perception and imagination. The viewer is invited to engage with the artwork on a subjective level, forming their connections and meanings, resulting in a more interactive and thought-provoking artistic experience.
